I created a Pass Thru Variable for a date to enter at run time.

I need the SQL syntax to create the 2 digit month from Pass Thru Variable to use as a comparison.

The date comes out as "26 December 2017"

Any ideas?

PS - This is in a Providex database.

Hi Doug.

So it turns out that passthrough variables are case sensitive.  I changed the one in your SQL source to @DateTest@ and it pulls through the date I entered in the correct format.  I also suggest checking Allow Lookups under the datatype for your passthrough.  This gives you the date picker when you run out your report, instead of having to type in a date, and can help eliminate typing errors.

That did it!

Thanks for looking into this.

Sure thing.
