I am getting the following message from a client’s server when exporting a SI file from the SI Report Manager on my PC and importing it to the client’s server:

"The Pastel Auto Connection system failed to create a link to your data.

The error returned was:

There are no DAT files in the folder P:\XXXX999"

The folder P:\XXXX999 in this case refers to a folder on the Server.

Any ideas how to resolve this?

Hi Dawie,

This error can occur when connecting to a Pervasive Database and all the files required by the report are not in the named DAT file folder.

Here is a link on how to rebuild data files in Sage,

Maybe this would help

Thanks
