I have a client that has ~25 Companies.  They want to setup Consolidated Reports in Intelligence.  However, there are multiple groups of companies that need to be consolidated.  For example, ABC, DEF and GHI are one consolidation and JKL, MNO and PQR are another consolidation.  Is there a to have more than one group of companies in a Consolidation without doing it once everything gets to Excel?

Thanks,

Hi Suzanne

On the 'company name' expression, apply a CASE statement similar to this very rough example:

CASE WHEN ('CONAME' = "ABC" OR 'CONAME' = "DEF" OR 'CONAME' = "ABC") THEN "CONSOLIDATION1" ELSE "CONSOLIDATION2" END

This will replace the company name in your report, to the new grouping name "CONSOLIDATION1,2,3,ETC"

Hi, if you are looking for consolidation and currency conversion of Sage 300 companies, we have several clients doing it. You can email me to mcatalano@adssglobal.net
