Report on debit and credit movement (Sage 300 SI)?

Hi everyone, I did see this question posted before but was not able to find an answer applicable to my situation. I would like to find a way to report on the debit and credit movement for an account for certain period. For example, for my bank account, I would like to know how much I had flow in (debit movement) and how much I had flow out (credit movement).I understand for the GLActual300 formula there is an argument on balance type (debit vs credit), but that is to distinguish balance only. I…See More

"Hi Krissy,  Were you able to add the filter eventually? I am facing the same situation here. The actual reports does not have segment code as a field. I added the segment code as a data field, but when I use it as a filter, the SQL query that…"

"Hi Terris, We don't have one for 300.   The only one we have is for Sage 100 or 500 which enables users to import their FRx trees. It's a small executable that moves the .tre files over to Sage Intelligence. This link is to the…"

"Hi Terris. Just to add to this, in the Report Manager the sub reports aren't interrelated, so you would need to add filters to each one you want filtered.  Using a passthrough variable is a convenient way to do this.  It is only one…"

Easier way to build/edit massive reporting tree? (sage 300)

Hi everyone, I am going to build a reporting tree for 90+ departments. I was wondering whether there is a better way than manually typing everything in? Would be nice to be able to import a csv file. I tried a few tree reading website to read the .tre file but didn't work for me. I also tried opening the .tre file with notepad and the content is beyond my knowledge. Thanks for your time!!See More

GL Security for Sage Intelligence Reporting

Hi everyone, I did some research on this and see some people posting this question before but not finding a solution yet. So I thought I'd just post it again to see if there has been any new updates. In Sage 300, we can have GL Security on and set account permissions for different users, for example, only allowing user to see one account segment. However, when I use this user to run SI reports, this user can still pull GL results for all accounts (incl. the segments this user are restricted…See More
